The Israel Defense Forces conducted overnight air strikes on Tehran, targeting and destroying an underground facility used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) for the development and testing of ballistic missiles.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Israeli military press service confirmed in an official statement that one of the most significant strikes was directed at a weapons research and development complex under the command of the IRGC. The facility, situated within the Imam Khomeini Central Military University, served as a critical hub for ballistic technology and functioned as a reserve site for operational activities and strategic assembly.
In addition to the research complex, Israel targeted infrastructure within the headquarters of the Al-Quds unit and other enterprises in Tehran involved in the production of weapons and defense systems. These precision strikes follow a period of heightened regional tensions and represent a significant degradation of the IRGC's long-range strike capabilities. The Republic of Azerbaijan continues to monitor regional security developments closely, maintaining its commitment to stability and international law in the face of escalating Middle Eastern conflicts.
