İran ABŞ-nin planını rədd etdi - Yeni 10 maddəlik təklif masada

The negotiation process between Iran and the United States has entered a new and complex phase following the rejection of a Washington-led peace initiative.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Iranian Ambassador Kazem Jalali, in an interview with the Vedomosti newspaper, confirmed that Tehran has officially rejected a 15-point peace plan presented by the United States. According to the ambassador, after refusing the initial broad proposal, Iran submitted an alternative 10-point plan through mediators. Reports suggest that the U.S. administration has now agreed to use this Iranian proposal as a primary basis for ongoing discussions.

The diplomatic tension follows a period of significant military escalation that reportedly began on February 28, involving large-scale operations against Iranian interests. While US President Donald Trump declared a two-week ceasefire on April 7 to facilitate dialogue, subsequent rounds of negotiations held in Islamabad failed to produce a consensus on fundamental issues. Furthermore, the situation remains strained as the United States has maintained a naval blockade since April 13, complicating the path toward a long-term diplomatic resolution.

This latest development reflects the volatile nature of Middle Eastern geopolitics and the challenges of direct mediation between Washington and Tehran. The involvement of international mediators highlights the global concern over regional stability, particularly regarding maritime security and energy corridors. As both sides exchange proposals, the international community remains focused on whether the 10-point framework can provide a sustainable roadmap to de-escalate the current military and economic confrontation.
