Iran's armed forces have announced that they will no longer exercise restraint in launching retaliatory strikes against American facilities in the Middle East following threats to Iranian and Israeli energy infrastructure.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing foreign media outlets, that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated it had previously applied certain limitations on its retaliatory actions based on principles of good neighborliness. However, the IRGC emphasized that these restrictions have now been lifted.

The IRGC further warned that if US President Donald Trump carries out threats to attack Iran's energy facilities, Iranian forces are prepared to inflict severe and long-term damage on US energy infrastructure across the region. The statement underscores a significant escalation in rhetoric, suggesting that regional stability could be compromised if direct military action is taken against Tehran's economic assets.

This development comes amid heightened geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, where the security of energy corridors and military installations remains a primary concern for international stakeholders. Historically, the Persian Gulf has been a focal point for such confrontations due to its strategic importance for global oil supplies. The involvement of US President Donald Trump's administration in regional security dynamics continues to be a defining factor in the ongoing standoff between Washington and Tehran.
