İran ABŞ-yə xəbərdarlıq etdi: Hərbi cavab dərhal veriləcək

Mohsen Rezaei, military advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, has issued a stern warning to the United States, stating that any military action against Tehran would result in immediate retaliation.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing Iran's Press TV, that the advisor cautioned Washington against further escalation in the region.

According to the report, Rezaei stated that any new military operation against Tehran would lead to "catastrophic consequences" for the United States. He asserted that "history will record how the Iranian people defeated the American superpower in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman." The official further claimed that the most cost-effective option for Washington would be to accept 10 conditions put forward by Iran.

During his statement, Rezaei also addressed rumors regarding the health of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, dismissing them by describing the leader as "young, healthy, and energetic," and emphasizing his "wise leadership" of the country. He added that the "right to revenge" against Israel remains in force, suggesting that such actions would continue until the ultimate neutralization of threats.

Simultaneously, the Commander of the Iranian Navy, Shahram Irani, echoed these warnings to US President Donald Trump's administration. He stated that any military move by Washington against Iran would meet an instantaneous response. The commander dismissed the notion that the United States could defeat Iran in a short timeframe as a "mistake," noting that such views are no longer taken seriously in military circles. He emphasized that Iran is prepared to fight to the end to ensure "revenge for the martyrs."

The escalation in rhetoric comes amid a complex geopolitical landscape in the Middle East, where the Persian Gulf remains a critical corridor for global energy supplies. Relations between Tehran and Washington have been characterized by decades of tension, involving economic sanctions, maritime standoffs, and proxy conflicts. The current stance of the Iranian leadership reflects a continued policy of "strategic defiance" aimed at deterring foreign military intervention while asserting regional influence.
