The third round of the league continued today with another set of competitive fixtures.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the second match of the day featured a contest between Shafa and Imishli at the SOCAR Polymer Arena. The match concluded with a 1:0 victory for the Imishli side, with Seykhan Farajov scoring the decisive goal in the 55th minute.
In the opening match of the day, Gabala hosted Shamakhi on their home turf. That encounter ended in a goalless draw, with neither side able to break the deadlock.
The league, which serves as a key platform for developing professional football talent in Azerbaijan, continues to draw significant attention from local sports enthusiasts. The remaining matches of the current round are scheduled to take place on August 30 and 31.
