Excluding the liberated territories, the gasification level across Azerbaijan has reached 96 percent, President Ilham Aliyev said.
Speaking at a meeting dedicated to agricultural issues, the head of state emphasized that there are no issues with electricity supply in Azerbaijan, noting that the country is not only self-sufficient but has also developed significant export potential, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.
President Ilham Aliyev highlighted major infrastructure projects, including the construction of highways, intercity and rural roads, as well as large water reservoirs such as Takhtakorpu, Shamkirchay, and Goytepe. "Canals have been reconstructed, and this process continues. In short, the development of regions and agriculture has progressed rapidly, leading to a major increase in agricultural production," the President said, adding that state programs targeting viticulture, cotton growing, hazelnut production, and citrus farming have provided a major boost to the sector.
