President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan on the occasion of his country's national holiday.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the letter reads:
"Your Majesty,
On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my most sincere congratulations and best wishes to you and, through you, to your entire people on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
On this festive day, I wish you robust health, happiness, success in your endeavors, and the friendly people of Jordan everlasting peace and prosperity."
Azerbaijan and Jordan share strong diplomatic relations established in 1993. The two nations actively cooperate within various international frameworks, including the United Nations and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, fostering mutual support on global and regional issues.
