President Ilham Aliyev arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic today for a working visit to participate in the events of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the head of state at Manas International Airport in Bishkek.
President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were welcomed by Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization, founded in 2001, serves as a key Eurasian political, economic, and security alliance. Azerbaijan's participation in SCO-related events underscores the country's active role in fostering regional connectivity, energy cooperation, and diplomatic dialogue across the Eurasian space, further strengthening ties with Central Asian partners.
