Azerbaijan and Germany plan to establish working groups to implement the provisions of the strategic partnership declaration signed today. This initiative aims to deepen bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev announced this development during a joint press conference with German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Berlin.
The head of state noted that concrete action plans have already been prepared for various areas of cooperation: "The declaration signed today reflects specific clauses and plans. Several working groups will be established to ensure the implementation of the signed documents as quickly as possible."
The establishment of these working groups marks a significant step in strengthening the diplomatic and economic ties between Baku and Berlin. Germany remains one of Azerbaijan's key partners in Europe, with extensive cooperation spanning energy, trade, and political dialogue. Such mechanisms are designed to streamline the execution of bilateral agreements and foster long-term strategic engagement between the two nations.
