Google has launched a new music generation feature for its Gemini artificial intelligence chatbot, expanding the platform's creative capabilities.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that users can now compose full 30-second musical tracks by simply inputting a specific mood, genre, or theme.

The system automatically generates not only the music but also the lyrics and visual cover art using the Nano Banana model. This innovation is available to users over the age of 18, with expanded usage limits provided for Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers.

The primary objective of the project is to facilitate musical experimentation and the sharing of entertaining content rather than producing commercial hits. According to the developers, the tool is designed to lower the barrier for creative expression through generative technology.

Each generated track includes a digital watermark, undetectable to the human ear, indicating that it was created by artificial intelligence.

The system does not copy existing works; instead, it produces entirely new material inspired by general styles.

Special content filters are applied to ensure that the outputs do not infringe upon existing copyrighted works.

The Gemini music feature currently supports several languages, including English, German, French, Japanese, and Korean. This development follows a broader trend in the tech industry where major players like Google and Microsoft are integrating generative AI into multimedia production. In Azerbaijan, the adoption of such AI technologies is increasingly seen as a vital component of the digital economy and technological innovation, aligning with global trends in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
