President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree awarding Hikmat Baba oglu Mammadov (Hikmat Babaoglu) with the "Shohrat" (Glory) Order.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the member of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) was honored for his long-standing and productive activities in the socio-political life of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The award coincides with the deputy's 60th birthday, which he celebrates on April 17.
The "Shohrat" Order is one of the high state honors of Azerbaijan, typically awarded to citizens for outstanding services in the fields of economy, science, culture, and social development. Hikmat Babaoglu, a prominent political figure and journalist, has served as a member of the Milli Majlis and has been actively involved in the country's legislative processes and media landscape for many years.
