Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov departed for a business trip to Istanbul, Turkey, on June 8.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) reported that the visit aims to strengthen diplomatic ties and address key regional issues.
During the visit, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov is scheduled to participate in and address a trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey. In addition to the trilateral format, the minister will hold a series of high-level bilateral meetings to discuss strategic cooperation and regional security.
The trilateral format between Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey is a cornerstone of regional stability, focusing on major infrastructure projects, energy security, and transport corridors, such as the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway. These regular meetings serve to deepen the strategic partnership between the three nations, which are closely linked by shared economic interests and geopolitical objectives in the South Caucasus.
