Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has commenced an official visit to Ukraine. As part of his itinerary, he visited the Memorial to the Fallen Defenders of Ukraine, located in the park of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, accompanied by his Ukrainian counterpart, Andriy Sybiha.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan announced the visit via its official "X" social media account. The Foreign Minister laid a wreath at the memorial to pay his respects to the fallen.

Upon his arrival in Kyiv, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov was received by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha and other senior officials. The visit is expected to include a series of bilateral meetings aimed at strengthening diplomatic ties and discussing pressing issues of regional security and cooperation.

Azerbaijan and Ukraine maintain a long-standing partnership characterized by active political dialogue and cooperation in various sectors, including energy, trade, and humanitarian aid. Diplomatic visits of this nature are essential for coordinating positions on international platforms and addressing the evolving security landscape in the region.
