Fransa Kiprə qoşun göndərir: Humanitar missiya razılaşdırıldı

An agreement has been reached regarding the deployment of French military personnel to Cyprus for humanitarian purposes.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides made the announcement, detailing the scope of the upcoming mission.

The President stated in an official government announcement that the French military presence will be strictly limited to humanitarian activities. According to the statement, the official agreement is scheduled to be signed at the ministerial level in June. The move is intended to bolster the coordination of regional humanitarian operations and enhance emergency response capabilities in the Eastern Mediterranean.

This development comes amid increasing defense and security cooperation between France and Cyprus within the framework of European Union initiatives. France has historically maintained a significant presence in the region, and this new agreement further solidifies Paris's role in Mediterranean logistics and crisis management. The strategic location of Cyprus makes it a vital hub for international humanitarian aid corridors and emergency response efforts across the Middle East and North Africa.
