The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan has released its operational statistics for the past week, reporting a total of 576 fire incidents. This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM.
According to the ministry, its relevant units responded to calls received via the "112" hotline. In addition to the fire incidents, emergency teams conducted rescue operations in 46 cases involving individuals in helpless situations and responded to 4 road traffic accidents.
Through prompt and urgent measures, the ministry ensured the rapid suppression of fires and the protection of human life. In total, the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued 69 people, including 15 minors, and recovered 7 bodies during the week.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations serves as the primary state body in Azerbaijan responsible for managing disaster response, fire safety, and civil defense. The "112" hotline operates 24/7, serving as a critical infrastructure for public safety and rapid response to emergencies across the country.
