The European Union has allocated approximately 200 billion euros to support Ukraine since the beginning of the military conflict with Russia, according to Polish Foreign Minister Radoslav Sikorski.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the minister emphasized the scale of European financial commitment during his latest statement. Sikorski noted that Europe is currently fully financing the war effort due to the suspension of American funding in January of last year. "We have spent about 200 billion euros to support Ukraine and have extended financing by another 90 billion euros for the next two years," he stated.

The shift in funding dynamics comes as Brussels takes a more prominent role in sustaining Ukraine's defense and economic stability. This financial mobilization is part of a broader European strategy to ensure regional security and support the territorial integrity of sovereign nations. The European Union's multi-year financial framework for Ukraine aims to provide predictable and long-term assistance, covering both immediate military needs and essential public services as the conflict continues.
