The Israeli military has conducted a series of airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, while Hezbollah launched retaliatory rocket strikes toward northern Israel.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA), that the situation remains tense as military operations intensify on both sides of the border.

According to reports, the Israeli military carried out two targeted airstrikes on the Hadas neighborhood in Beirut's southern outskirts. Additionally, offensive operations have resumed in the direction of Haret Hreik. Al Jazeera reported that prior to the strikes, an Israeli military spokesperson issued an evacuation order for residents of the Hadas area and the population of 59 villages in southern Lebanon. "We will soon take action against Hezbollah's activities," the spokesperson stated.

Al-Manar TV reported that the building of the Al-Nur radio station in Beirut's southern suburbs was hit during the Israeli aerial bombardment. Meanwhile, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth confirmed that Hezbollah launched 15 rockets toward northern Israel. The Israeli Home Front Command later announced that warnings in Upper Galilee were lifted after four rockets fired from Lebanon were successfully intercepted.

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has seen a significant escalation in recent months, characterized by frequent cross-border exchanges of fire and targeted strikes. This cycle of violence is part of a broader regional instability that has drawn international concern regarding the potential for a full-scale ground war. Diplomatic efforts continue in the background as global powers seek to prevent further expansion of the conflict, which has already resulted in significant displacement of civilians on both sides of the Blue Line.
