Prime Minister Ali Asadov arrived in Turkmenistan on May 21 for a working visit to participate in a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov was welcomed at Ashgabat International Airport by Turkmenistan's Minister of Finance and Economy, Mammetguly Astanakulov, and other high-ranking officials.
The meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) serves as a key platform for discussing economic cooperation, regional security, and the implementation of joint projects among member states. Azerbaijan remains an active participant in the organization, focusing on strengthening transport corridors and trade relations within the Eurasian region.
