One person has been killed in the UAE capital following the fall of missile debris.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the UAE press service released information regarding the incident on social media.
According to official reports, fragments of a ballistic missile intercepted by Abu Dhabi's air defense systems fell in the Beni Yas area. A Pakistani citizen lost his life as a result of the incident. It was further noted that a Palestinian national was killed just a day prior when a missile struck a vehicle in Abu Dhabi.
The United Arab Emirates has recently faced an increase in cross-border drone and missile attacks, prompting the state to bolster its sophisticated air defense networks. These systems, which include both domestic and international technologies, are designed to intercept and neutralize aerial threats before they reach high-density civilian areas. Despite successful interceptions, falling debris remains a significant risk in urban environments.
