US President Donald Trump has confirmed that his scheduled visit to China next week remains in effect, emphasizing the importance of upcoming diplomatic engagements in Beijing.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the US President made these remarks during a press briefing with journalists. "We will meet with President Xi Jinping. I think it will be quite great. He has been my friend. I have gotten along very well with him for years," Trump stated. The visit is officially scheduled to take place from May 14 to 15.
