Azerbaijani police officers ensured the detection and resolution of 45 crimes recorded across the country on March 20, along with two additional cases remaining from previous periods.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM, a total of 45 individuals on the wanted list were detained and handed over to the relevant authorities, including 28 people sought as debtors. Furthermore, 15 facts related to drug offenses and 10 facts regarding the discovery and seizure of illegally possessed weapons and ammunition were identified. In total, 41 individuals suspected of committing various crimes were apprehended during the operations.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan continues to conduct systematic operational and search activities to maintain public order and ensure the safety of citizens. These daily enforcement measures are part of a broader national strategy to combat organized crime, illegal drug trafficking, and the possession of unregistered firearms.
