The death toll from Israeli attacks in Lebanon has reached 1,318, with 3,935 others injured since March 2, according to official reports.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that this information was released citing the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA).
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the casualties include more than 120 children. The ministry further noted that within the last 24 hours alone, 50 people were killed and 185 others sustained various injuries as Israel continues its bombardment of southern Lebanon, causing significant loss of life and extensive material damage.
The conflict intensified after the Hezbollah movement launched rocket attacks against Israeli positions and equipment in border regions. Since March 2, Lebanon has been increasingly drawn into the broader Middle East conflict following these provocations by the Iranian-backed group. In response, Israel has carried out intensive air and ground operations targeting Hezbollah infrastructure and launch sites across the country.
The ongoing hostilities represent one of the most significant escalations in the region in recent years. International observers have expressed growing concern over the humanitarian situation in Lebanon, as the cross-border fire between the Israeli Defense Forces and Hezbollah militants continues to displace thousands of civilians on both sides of the border. The conflict remains a focal point of global diplomatic efforts aimed at preventing a wider regional conflagration.
