Forward Nicolas Jackson, who is currently playing for Bayern Munich on loan, is set to return to Chelsea during the upcoming summer transfer window. Operative Information Center-OMM, citing The Athletic, reports that the Munich-based club has declined the option to permanently acquire the Senegalese international's transfer rights.

Despite his return, the London club reportedly has no intention of retaining the striker in their primary squad for the next season. Chelsea's management believes they can generate up to €60 million from the forward's sale. For comparison, the Transfermarkt portal currently estimates the 24-year-old player's market value at approximately €40 million.

During his tenure with Bayern Munich this season, Jackson has made 30 official appearances, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists. It is noteworthy that the young attacker remains under a long-term contract with Chelsea, which is valid until 2033. Such long-term agreements have become a hallmark of the London club's recent transfer policy, aimed at securing talent while managing financial amortization over several years. The potential sale of Jackson reflects the club's ongoing efforts to balance its roster and meet financial sustainability requirements within the Premier League.
