Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with the newly appointed Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Tleuberdi.
This was reported to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
During the call, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov extended his sincere congratulations to Mukhtar Tleuberdi on his appointment as Foreign Minister and wished him success in his future endeavors.
The ministers discussed the current agenda of strategic relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, the existing state of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, and prospects for further developing ties in areas of mutual interest.
Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted with satisfaction that the relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are developing dynamically, based on principles of friendship, brotherhood, mutual trust, and solidarity. The importance of further expanding bilateral ties across all sectors and enriching them with new content was emphasized.
During the conversation, the effective cooperation and mutual support between the two countries within international and regional organizations were highly praised. Both sides underscored the importance of continuing to coordinate positions and activities within multilateral platforms.
The ministers also exchanged views on other regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan maintain a robust strategic partnership, significantly bolstered by their shared cultural heritage and cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States. This diplomatic dialogue reflects the ongoing commitment of both nations to strengthening regional stability and economic integration in the Caspian region.
