Ceyhun Bayramov: Bakı və Daşkəndin əməkdaşlığı genişlənir

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are witnessing a growing dynamic of cooperation across all sectors, marking a significant strengthening of bilateral ties.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov discussed these developments in an interview with the "Uzbekistan 24" television channel.

Minister Bayramov emphasized that state visits between the leaders of the two nations have become a well-established tradition. Following the visit of Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Azerbaijan last year, President Ilham Aliyev is currently conducting a state visit to Uzbekistan.

"We are observing an increasing dynamic in all directions. Today (August 23), 13 documents were signed as a result of this visit. The most significant among them are the Treaty on Eternal Friendship between our countries, the final decision of the third meeting of the Interstate Council, as well as 11 additional documents covering various fields. A large number of new projects have been launched. The interregional forum (August 22) was held with great success and results," the minister stated.

Bayramov noted that every state visit provides additional impetus to bilateral relations. Expressing his satisfaction with Uzbekistan's development, he emphasized that even short intervals between his visits allow him to observe dynamic changes in Tashkent and the country's regions. "Uzbekistan's influence on international platforms is growing dynamically and steadily," Jeyhun Bayramov added.

The deepening of relations between Baku and Tashkent reflects a broader trend of strengthening ties among Turkic-speaking nations. Both countries are key players in the region, actively collaborating within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States to enhance economic, political, and cultural integration across Central Asia and the South Caucasus.
