Gas supply will be temporarily suspended in parts of the Khazar and Sabunchu districts of Baku, as well as in several villages of the Bilasuvar district.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the state-owned gas distribution operator Azerigaz Production Union (PU) has issued an official warning regarding upcoming maintenance and installation works.
The operator stated that starting tomorrow at 10:00 AM, gas supply will be interrupted in the Buzovna settlement of the Khazar district, specifically affecting the Albaliliq and Atchiliq residential areas. Additionally, supply will be halted in the Sabunchu district, impacting the Zabrat settlement and streets including Oktyabr, R. Akhundov, and L. Mammadbeyova, until the completion of the scheduled works.
Furthermore, on July 24, starting at 10:00 AM, gas supply will be temporarily suspended in the Bilasuvar district, affecting the villages of Asgarabad, Ashagi Jurali, Darvishli, Amankand, Ovchubara, Yukhari Jurali, and Tazakand. Supply will be restored once the technical operations are concluded.
Azerigaz, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), regularly conducts such maintenance operations to ensure the safety and efficiency of the country's gas distribution infrastructure. These temporary interruptions are standard procedures aimed at upgrading pipelines and preventing potential technical failures in the network.
