The ten-day ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Lebanon has been positively received by several countries and international organizations.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing foreign media, that the foreign ministries of Iran, Jordan, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as representatives of European Union member states, have welcomed the cessation of hostilities.

Spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baghaei, noted that Tehran views the ceasefire announcement in Lebanon positively, highlighting it as part of a broader understanding reached between Iran and the United States through the mediation of Pakistan. Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also declared its support for the truce. Meanwhile, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed firm support for ensuring Lebanon's territorial integrity, maintaining arms solely under state control, and restoring national institutions. The United Arab Emirates commended the diplomatic efforts that led to the agreement, while European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen emphasized that the focus must now shift from a temporary pause to a path toward lasting peace. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni described the development as "welcome news" achieved through US mediation, a sentiment echoed by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

The announcement follows a statement by US President Donald Trump, who confirmed that a ten-day ceasefire agreement had been secured between Israel and Lebanon. This diplomatic breakthrough comes amid a period of heightened regional tensions and significant humanitarian concerns. Historically, the border region between Israel and Lebanon has been a flashpoint for conflict, often requiring intensive international mediation to prevent full-scale war. Despite the diplomatic optimism, reports have already emerged from Lebanon regarding potential violations of the ceasefire, underscoring the fragile nature of the current truce.
