Turkish football club Besiktas has officially appointed Vincenzo Italiano as its new head coach.
According to Report, the Istanbul club's press service confirmed the appointment, announcing that they have reached a formal agreement with the Italian tactician.
This decision follows the club's separation from former head coach Sergen Yalcin last month, leaving a vacancy that the Besiktas management sought to fill with an experienced international profile.
Vincenzo Italiano, known for his tactical discipline and previous work in the Italian Serie A, faces the immediate challenge of revitalizing the team's performance in the Turkish Super Lig. Besiktas, one of Turkey's most historic clubs, is currently looking to stabilize its competitive standing and return to challenging for domestic titles after a period of transition in its coaching staff.
