The National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK) and the Manufacturers Association of Israel (MAI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen bilateral commercial ties. The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed about the agreement by the Confederation.
The memorandum was formalized within the framework of the Azerbaijan–Israel Business Forum. The document was signed by Mammad Musayev, President of ASK, on behalf of Azerbaijan, and Natanel Hayman, Deputy Chairman of MAI, on behalf of Israel. The agreement aims to deepen business relations between the two nations through the organization of mutual business missions, exploration of investment opportunities, and the facilitation of B2B meetings and experience sharing between private sector representatives.
The signing took place during the official visit of an Israeli delegation led by Foreign Minister Gideon Saar to Azerbaijan. Economic and business cooperation remains a cornerstone of the bilateral relationship between Baku and Jerusalem. In recent years, Azerbaijan and Israel have significantly expanded their partnership beyond energy, focusing on high technology, agriculture, and healthcare to diversify economic engagement between the two countries.
