Azerbaijan has continued to facilitate the transit and export of fuel supplies destined for Armenia.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, a shipment consisting of 17 rail tankers, totaling 989 tons of diesel fuel, was dispatched from the Bilajari station of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC toward the Boyuk Kasik border crossing.
To date, approximately 15,000 tons of diesel fuel and nearly 5,000 tons of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline have been exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia. Furthermore, significant volumes of goods have transited through Azerbaijan from Russia to Armenia, including over 55,000 tons of grain, nearly 9,000 tons of fertilizer, 1,414 tons of propane, 133 tons of aluminum, 1,114 tons of coal, and 334 tons of timber.
These logistical operations highlight Azerbaijan's role as a key transit corridor in the South Caucasus. The transport of these goods is conducted in accordance with international transit agreements, utilizing the country's extensive railway infrastructure to connect regional markets and ensure the movement of essential commodities across the border.
