The special quarantine regime in the territory of Azerbaijan has been officially extended.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decree to this effect.
Under the new decision, the special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan has been extended until 06:00 on October 1, 2026. The measure is aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection and mitigating its potential consequences across the country.
The special quarantine regime has been a cornerstone of Azerbaijan's public health strategy since the onset of the pandemic. These measures, which include various sanitary and epidemiological controls, are periodically reviewed by the Cabinet of Ministers based on the current epidemiological situation to ensure the safety and well-being of the population.
