The Azerbaijan Army has commenced the transition of weapons, combat, and special equipment to the spring-summer operation mode in accordance with the training plan for 2026.
The Ministry of Defense informed Operative Information Center-OMM that as part of the scheduled measures, personnel were instructed on the rules for seasonal operation and maintenance of equipment. Safety requirements were communicated to the troops, and military units were centrally provided with all necessary spare parts and equipment to facilitate the transition.
At technical maintenance points, specialists inspected electrical systems and replaced fuel and lubricants according to the climatic requirements to ensure the continuous and stable operation of the military arsenal. All necessary measures regarding the transition of weaponry and hardware to the summer regime have been implemented in a planned manner.
Such seasonal transitions are a standard procedure within the Azerbaijan Army to maintain high combat capability and prolong the service life of military assets. Given the diverse terrain and climatic conditions of Azerbaijan, particularly in liberated territories like Garabagh and East Zangezur, these technical inspections are vital for ensuring that armored vehicles and aviation assets perform optimally under high-temperature conditions.
