Azerbaijan has dispatched another batch of petroleum products to Armenia, continuing the delivery of essential energy resources. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, a total of 15 wagons carrying 887 tons of diesel fuel were sent today.

The latest shipment adds to the significant volume of energy exports from Azerbaijan to its neighbor. To date, Azerbaijan has supplied Armenia with a total of 6,312 tons of diesel (including the most recent delivery), 979 tons of AI-92 gasoline, and 2,955 tons of AI-95 gasoline. These figures highlight the logistical scale of the ongoing energy transfers facilitated through regional transport networks.

The provision of petroleum products is part of a broader framework of regional engagement and the restoration of economic ties in the South Caucasus. Azerbaijan, as a major energy hub in the region, plays a pivotal role in ensuring energy security and supporting infrastructure development. The utilization of rail transport for these shipments underscores the strategic importance of the regional corridors connecting the two countries, aimed at fostering stability and economic cooperation in the post-conflict period.
