The full restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity has created a new dynamic in the region, opening fresh opportunities for cooperation, trade, connectivity, and economic development.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed this view during an event titled "Cities at the Heart of Connectivity: Urban Reconstruction and Regional Cooperation," held within the framework of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

According to the minister, the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia establishes a solid foundation for the development of regional cooperation and mutually beneficial relations. He emphasized that Baku remains committed to the peace agenda, which aims to transform the South Caucasus into a zone of stability and prosperity through the unblocking of transport communications and the delimitation of state borders.

The World Urban Forum, established by the United Nations, serves as the premier global conference on sustainable urbanization. Azerbaijan's active participation in such international platforms underscores its commitment to post-conflict reconstruction and the "Great Return" program, which focuses on rebuilding liberated territories including Shusha, Aghdam, and Fuzuli using smart city technologies and sustainable infrastructure.
