The newly appointed Ambassador of Germany to Azerbaijan, Dirk Lölke, has arrived in the country to assume his diplomatic duties. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the German Embassy in Baku confirmed his arrival and the commencement of his mission.
Upon beginning his tenure at the German Embassy in Baku, Ambassador Lölke emphasized his commitment to deepening the partnership between the two nations. He stated that he looks forward to further strengthening the bilateral relationship in the coming years.
"I am eager to further strengthen Germany-Azerbaijan relations in the coming years and to expand cooperation between our countries in the political, economic, and cultural spheres," Ambassador Lölke said.
Germany and Azerbaijan maintain a multifaceted relationship, with Germany being one of Azerbaijan's key economic partners in the European Union. Diplomatic relations between the two nations have historically focused on energy cooperation, trade, and cultural exchange, with both countries frequently engaging in high-level dialogues to address regional developments and bilateral interests.
