The list of undergraduate majors in Azerbaijan's higher education system has been expanded following a new government decree. According to the decision, a new field of study, "Real Estate Management," has been officially added to the national classification of undergraduate specialties.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed the relevant decree to amend the "Classification of Specialties at the Undergraduate Level of Higher Education." The amendment introduces clause 6.46 to the existing framework, formalizing the inclusion of this new academic discipline.
This move is part of Azerbaijan's broader efforts to align its higher education system with the evolving demands of the national labor market. The introduction of real estate management as a specialized field of study is expected to provide professional training for the growing property and infrastructure sectors in Azerbaijan. By diversifying academic offerings, the Cabinet of Ministers aims to enhance the quality of human capital and ensure that the workforce possesses the technical expertise required for modern economic management.
