"ABŞ tezliklə Kuba ilə razılığa gələcək və ya lazım olanı edəcək" - Trampdan HƏDƏ

US President Donald Trump has announced that Washington could reach a new agreement with Cuba in the near future.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the president made these remarks during a recent press briefing with journalists.

US President Donald Trump emphasized that if a mutual agreement is not reached, the United States will take the necessary actions regarding Cuba. "Cuba wants a deal, and I think we're either going to have a deal soon or we're going to do what we have to do," he stated.

The US President added that Washington and Havana are already engaged in negotiations. According to him, while the situation in the Middle East remains the primary priority for the United States, the White House will shift its full attention toward Cuba once military operations involving Iran are concluded.

Diplomatic relations between the United States and Cuba have historically been characterized by periods of tension and limited engagement. Since the mid-20th century, Washington has maintained various economic and political sanctions against Havana. A potential new agreement would represent a significant shift in regional policy, potentially addressing long-standing issues related to trade, migration, and security in the Caribbean basin.
