Zira FC has officially strengthened its squad with a new signing.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the club's press service confirmed that the "Eagles" have secured the transfer of Azerbaijan national team member Aykhan Huseynov.
The club has signed a two-year contract with the 26-year-old midfielder, aiming to bolster their midfield options for the upcoming season.
Huseynov brings significant experience to the team, having previously played for the Azerbaijani club Turan Tovuz, as well as several Russian clubs, including Leningradets, Nizhny Novgorod, Ural, Olimp-Dolgoprudny, and Khimki. His acquisition is seen as a strategic move for Zira, which consistently competes for top positions in the Azerbaijan Premier League and aims to maintain a strong presence in European club competitions.
