Zelenski: Rusiya yeni səfərbərlik çərçivəsində 300 min əsgər toplaya bilər

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Russia may announce a new mobilization wave in the coming months to recruit approximately 300,000 additional soldiers for its ongoing military campaign.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Zelenskyy indicated that the primary objective of these new forces would be to complete the occupation of the Donetsk region by the end of the year.

The Ukrainian leader claimed that Russia has suffered approximately 267,000 personnel casualties since the beginning of the year, with 155,000 of those being fatalities. Zelenskyy also warned that Russia might attempt to advance toward the Kharkiv and Sumy regions.

Furthermore, the Ukrainian President highlighted a decline in the supply of air defense systems, particularly Patriot missiles. He noted that the country is strengthening its domestic defense industry and mentioned the potential for producing SCALP missiles in Ukraine through cooperation with the British company MBDA.

The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which escalated significantly in February 2022, remains the focal point of European security. The war has led to extensive geopolitical shifts, including increased military aid from Western allies to Kyiv and significant economic sanctions imposed on Moscow by the international community.
