On August 27, Baku is expected to experience warm weather with temperatures reaching 31°C, while various regions across Azerbaijan are forecasted to see precipitation.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the National Hydrometeorological Service has issued an updated weather forecast for the country.
In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather is expected to be variably cloudy and predominantly rainless. A north-west wind will occasionally intensify. Temperatures in the capital will range from 21-24°C at night to 28-31°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is expected to be 758 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels fluctuating between 70-75% at night and 45-50% during the day.
Across the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather will remain largely dry; however, intermittent rain is expected in some mountainous and foothill areas. In certain locations, there is a probability of short-term downpours, thunderstorms, and hail. Fog is expected in some mountainous areas during the night and morning hours, accompanied by gusty westerly winds. Temperatures in the regions will reach 31-36°C during the day, while mountainous areas will see cooler temperatures between 20-25°C.
The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors these climatic shifts to provide timely warnings for agriculture and public safety, as the country's diverse topography often leads to localized weather variations.
