The State Examination Center (SEC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan is set to conduct university entrance examinations for the II and III specialty groups on July 5. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the exams will be organized across numerous cities and regions, including Baku, Khankendi, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Shamkir, Agstafa, Gazakh, Sumgait, Absheron, Shamakhi, Mingachevir, Sheki, Zagatala, Barda, Goychay, Ujar, Kurdamir, Shirvan, Sabirabad, Salyan, Lankaran, Jalilabad, Masalli, Guba, and Khachmaz.
Candidates have been able to print their "Exam Admission Ticket" from the official SEC website since June 25. This document contains essential details, including the exam date, location, building, hall, and the specific arrival time for the candidate. The examination is scheduled to begin at 10:00. Candidates are advised that the entry regime concludes at 09:45, and those arriving after this time will not be permitted to enter the exam venue.
To participate, students must present their "Exam Admission Ticket" and an original identity document. For citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, this is the national ID card. Foreign nationals and stateless persons must provide their residence permits issued by the State Migration Service, while those with refugee status must present their refugee cards. For students whose ID cards do not feature a photograph, a certified document from their educational institution with an attached photo is required.
A total of 41,622 candidates are expected to participate in this weekend's examinations, with 18,908 students in the II specialty group and 22,714 in the III specialty group. The SEC has mobilized 172 exam centers and 3,074 exam halls to accommodate the participants. The logistical operation involves 172 general exam supervisors, 491 exam managers, 3,808 invigilators, and 554 security personnel to ensure the integrity and smooth conduct of the testing process.
The SEC has also prioritized inclusivity, with 67 candidates with disabilities registered to take the exam. Specialized halls, individual supervisors, and accessible infrastructure have been provided to support these students. Furthermore, all exam centers will undergo a final security inspection on July 4, after which the facilities will be sealed and placed under the protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
