Weather conditions across Azerbaijan's mountainous and foothill regions are expected to deteriorate, with intermittent precipitation forecast from the evening of April 11 through the afternoon of April 14.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a warning regarding intensifying rainfall, thunderstorms, and hail in various districts. In certain high-altitude areas, the precipitation is expected to transition into snow during this period.
Authorities have cautioned that water levels in local rivers are likely to rise significantly. There is a high probability of short-term flash floods and mudflows occurring in several mountain rivers due to the heavy downpours.
