Türkiyənin bir sıra bölgələrində güclü yağışlar fəsadlara yol açıb

Heavy rainfall has triggered flash flooding and water damage across several regions in Turkey, disrupting daily life and impacting local infrastructure.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing local media reports, the Kocaeli province's Karamursel district experienced severe precipitation, resulting in the flooding of numerous residential homes and commercial establishments. A similar situation was reported in the Inegol district of Bursa, where intense, short-duration rainfall overwhelmed drainage systems and caused localized flooding.

Affected residents have alerted relevant authorities, prompting the deployment of emergency rescue teams. These crews are currently engaged in water extraction operations in flooded buildings and streets. Additionally, municipal workers have been dispatched to clear blocked sewage systems and storm drains to facilitate water runoff.

Turkey, due to its diverse geography and climate, frequently faces seasonal weather challenges, including heavy rainfall and flash floods. These events often necessitate rapid mobilization by the country's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) and local municipalities to mitigate property damage and ensure public safety during extreme weather conditions.
