The apartment of Russian designer Artemy Lebedev in Kyiv is scheduled to be put up for auction on June 30. This development follows a series of legal actions taken by Ukrainian authorities regarding assets linked to individuals under sanctions.
As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada deputy Dmytro Natalukha, the 138.5-square-meter property will be sold to the highest bidder. "The starting price for the residence is set at 10,583,400 hryvnias (approximately $236,000)," Natalukha stated.
The designer has been subject to Ukrainian sanctions since 2022. In July 2023, the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine ordered the confiscation of his assets in the country, including the apartment located on Yaroslavsky Val in the historic center of Kyiv, in favor of the state. Such measures are part of Ukraine's broader legal framework to seize assets of individuals and entities deemed to be supporting the Russian Federation's actions against Ukraine.
