Azərbaycanda intensiv yağıntılı hava şəraiti: Bakıda aylıq normanın 195%-i qədər yağış yağıb

Azerbaijan is currently experiencing unstable and intense weather conditions, with significant precipitation recorded across the country, according to the latest data from the National Hydrometeorological Service as of 8:00 PM on March 27.

The service reported that heavy rainfall has particularly affected the capital and the Absheron Peninsula. In Baku, the volume of precipitation reached 46 millimeters, which constitutes 195 percent of the established monthly norm for March. Meanwhile, snow is falling in high-altitude regions, including Kalbajar, Lachin, Shahdag, Khinalig, and Griz, while heavy rain persists in most other districts of Azerbaijan.

Such intense weather patterns in Azerbaijan during the spring transition are often monitored closely by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources to manage potential infrastructure challenges. The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly provides these updates to ensure public safety and to assist municipal services in responding to the increased water levels in urban drainage systems and mountainous river basins.
