Azerbaijan to reopen preschool enrollment queues on Sept. 10

The process of joining queues for preschool education institutions for the 2026–2027 academic year will resume at 3 p.m. on Sept. 10, 2026.

The State Agency for Preschool and General Education told "Operative Information Center-OMM".

The agency said the admission process will be carried out electronically through the myGov portal.

Parents will be able to select up to three preschool education institutions when creating a queue for one child in the admission system. If places become available, existing queue applications will be converted into admission requests no earlier than five days later. Admission of children to available places at preschool education institutions will continue throughout the year.

Preschool education in Azerbaijan covers early learning and care before children begin general education. The electronic queue system is intended to organize applications and help families apply for available places online.
