Tramp: Biz İranla atəşkəs razılaşması istəmirik

US President Donald Trump has announced that he does not seek a ceasefire agreement with Iran.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Trump made these remarks while answering journalists' questions in front of the White House.

The US President justified his position by stating that there is no need for such an agreement because the United States has already effectively neutralized Iran's capabilities. Trump further noted that Iran has lost the conflict from a military perspective and is currently focused solely on attempting to block the Strait of Hormuz.

President Trump emphasized that reopening the strait would be a simple military maneuver. However, he added that because such an operation would require the deployment of numerous vessels, the assistance of other international partners would be necessary.

The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world's most critical energy transit points, with approximately one-fifth of the world's oil consumption passing through the waterway daily. Tensions between Washington and Tehran have frequently centered on this strategic maritime chokepoint, which connects Middle Eastern crude producers to key global markets. The United States maintains a significant naval presence in the region to ensure the freedom of navigation and the stability of global energy supplies.
