Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has officially welcomed the achievement of a comprehensive ceasefire and reconciliation agreement in the Middle East, a development currently at the center of global attention.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Aybek Smadiyarov, spokesperson for the Kazakh President, released a statement regarding the matter: "President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomes the agreement on a full ceasefire and reconciliation in the Middle East, achieved through the mediation of Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Commander-in-Chief of the Pakistan Armed Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir."

The official statement emphasized that this historic agreement was made possible thanks to the goodwill and wisdom of US President Donald Trump and the Iranian top leadership, as well as all countries involved in the military conflict. Tokayev expressed his hope that this peace, attained for the purpose of developing global trade and the economic prosperity of all nations, will be of a long-term nature.

The Middle East has long been a region of strategic importance for global energy security and international trade routes. Diplomatic efforts led by major powers and regional mediators are frequently seen as essential for maintaining stability in the area. Kazakhstan, as a key player in Central Asia, often supports such international peace initiatives to ensure regional security and the steady flow of global economic exchange.
