Iran's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, is in good health and maintains full control over the country's affairs, according to official statements from Tehran.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi provided these updates regarding the leader's condition and the internal situation in Iran. "The leader of the revolution is in good health and is in full control of the situation," the Iranian top diplomat stated during his briefing.
Araghchi further emphasized that the domestic situation in Iran remains stable, asserting that there are no internal divisions or disagreements within the state institutions or the armed forces. He noted that the transition of leadership has been managed within the framework of the country's constitutional and religious guidelines.
Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the late Ali Khamenei, recently assumed the position of Supreme Leader, the highest political and religious authority in the Islamic Republic of Azerbaijan's neighbor, Iran. The Supreme Leader holds ultimate power over all major state decisions, including foreign policy and the command of the armed forces. His health and the stability of the leadership transition are closely monitored by regional actors and the international community due to Iran's significant role in Middle Eastern geopolitics.
