Richard Raši, the Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, arrived in Azerbaijan on an official visit on May 12.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the delegation led by Richard Raši was welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Musa Gasimli, Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly), Anar Mammadov, head of the working group on Azerbaijan-Slovakia inter-parliamentary relations, Elchin Gasimov, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Slovakia, and other protocol officials.
The visit is expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation between Baku and Bratislava. In recent years, Azerbaijan and Slovakia have significantly expanded their partnership, particularly in the energy and economic sectors. This high-level visit underscores the growing diplomatic ties and mutual interest in fostering deeper collaboration within international frameworks and regional initiatives.
